As Executive Director of the PC HS I wanted to start our blog out by saying THANK YOU to all our wonderful volunteers. The PC HS is a 98% all volunteer group. We have some volunteers that give over 100 hours a MONTH to our shelter animals! It's incredible to see animal lovers working together to help those that rely on us for survival! We fall in love with nearly every animal that comes to our facility. Over 2000 animals end up here annually and there can be nearly 100 animals in the shelter at one time. Think about YOUR own pets and their daily requirements and multiply it by 100! It is truly overwhelming at times. Blog-on. -Rebecca
I agree with Barb--I am totally loving this! Anyone who knows me knows I usually have a lot to say, and now I have a place to say it!
